Questions:
Q: Can we receive a copy of the NLI representative agreement
that we fill out online?
A: Yes.
There are two ways this can be done. Prior to submitting the application
simply select the print option from your browser or after submitting the
online application, you will be brought to a printer friendly version
of the application you just filled out.
Q: What
is the phone number for the pre-recorded call?
A: 1.612.253.3293.
Q: What
is the turn around time for ordering business products online?
A: 7 to 10 business days from the business day the order was taken
and payment received/verified.
Q: When
will my representative website be ready after enrolling?
A: Upon NLI Corporate receiving a completed application with payment
received/verified, your representative website will be activated within 72
hours.
Q: What
is the time frame in receiving your NLI Business Kit?
A: Upon NLI Corporate receiving a completed application with payment
received/verified, your NLI Business Kit will be shipped to you in 5 business
days, via UPS ground.
Q: As an
NLI Executive, when will I receive a check for residual business?
A: After a 90-day grace period and you have personally referred
two executives and 10 Internet customers.
Q: How much
is the annual renewal fee for a NLI Executive?
A: $180.
Q: What
happens if an NLI Executive in your downline does not renew?
A: Their NLI Distributorship will be canceled.
Q: Are Joe
Caldwell and Marty Hale available to do three way phone calls with large
prospects and clients?
A: Yes, after using the website tools and your upline to assist
in closing the prospect and/or client.
Q: If someone
signs on and already has a website hosted at another company, can they switch
hosts?
A: Yes.
Q: What
is the opportunity for people who already have hosting and Internet Access services
in place?
A: With NLI they will be receiving commissions on their own service
and be reselling their service provider, they will be a product of the
product.
Q: I received
a commission check for a $97. I thought our Executive personal commission
was $100 for signing up a 'Qualified' Executive.
A: All commission checks have a $3.00 processing fee taken out
of the total, hence the $97.
Q: What
form needs to be completed to become an Area Training Consultant & Regional Training Consultant?
A: The Independent Representative/Customer Agreement and ONLY select the ATC and/or RTC option,
deselecting everything else.
Internet
Access & Web Hosting Questions:
Q: How do your prices compare to the competition on DSL, T1,
T3, etc?
A: NLI is extremely competitive on a National Scale. That is how
we have become one of the largest privately owned Internet Companies in the US.
Q: Can I
use Microsoft FrontPage to create my website?
A: Yes.
Q: What
is the cost of hosting a FrontPage website?
A: It is $30 per month for up to 25MBs of space.
Advertising
Questions:
Q: Can we get a hardcopy of the Net Lifestyles, Inc. logo for
advertising?
A: Yes, it needs to be requested directly by emailing questions@netlifestyles.com.
Please note that NLI Corporate must approve the use of the logo.
Q: Can we
advertise on the Radio, Television, Newspaper, Billboards, and online?
A: Yes, the advertising piece in question must be approved by NLI
corporate before release. Please submit for approval by emailing to questions@netlifestyles.com.
Q: Is ".net"
equal with ".com" in effectiveness for business use/advertising
use?
A: Yes. ".net" is for Internet companies and ".com"
is for regular companies.
WebUnique WebMaster
Questions:
Q: Is there support access for the WebUnique WebMaster tool?
A: Yes. Email: support@webunique.com
Q: How do
you create or recreate online forms for NLI website?
A: Online forms are created by NLI corporate at $10 per field, this includes
placing the form on the website.
Q: Does the WebUnique Guest Book directly send the comments
to the email address that is indicated?
A: Yes, the WebUnique Guest Book sends out an email to either the
Administrative Email that was submitted on the Independent Representative
application or the Net Lifestyles email address, if the Representative
or Customer added Internet Access.
Q: Can you
put music on the home page, where if someone clicked on the site they
would hear music playing in the background?
A: 1) You need to purchase the "Uploadable Files" accessory for
your website, which allows you to upload various files.
2) Once you have uploaded this audio file, you will need to manually write
the HTML code for what is called a 'Background Sound'. This is a feature
that will play an audio element in the background while someone views
your website. This activates automatically once the person hits your site.
Currently Internet Explorer is the only browser that supports this feature,
so it wouldn't work for others who are using other web browsers. It wouldn't
forbid a person from viewing your site; they just wouldn't hear the music.
Q: Is there
a way to increase the width and height of the area where top banners are
inserted into our websites?
A: For now no. This size is fixed to accommodate the industry standard
for monitor settings and sizes.
Q: Are there
any limitations to how many pictures you can have on a representative website?
A: No, as long as the pictures are being scanned and uploaded by
the customer.
Q: Is the WebUnique WebMaster
Mac compatible?
A: No, Mac users need to use a PC emulator to utilize the WebUnique WebMaster tool.
Merchant
Services Questions:
Q: How do you change a new or existing merchant service account
over to a NLI merchant service account? Does the customer still use their
existing equipment?
A: Complete a Data Form online or submit
by faxing to 952.525.1562. The
customer will be contacted directly by one of our NLI corporate sales Executives.
Yes, the customer can use his/her existing equipment.
Q: What
cards can NLI process?
A: We can process all major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard,
American Express, and Discover.
Q: What
is your processing rate?
A: We offer some of the lowest processing rates in the industry.
To give an exact rate, we will need to review your current volume, transaction
size, and needs.
Q: What
are you prices on equipment and fees?
A: We have many different options.
Q: How soon
will my business receive our funds?
A: All deposits are electronically sent to the bank of your choice
via the ACH system. The standard timeframe is 48 hours. Deposits that
are submitted by 6:00 PM Central Time would be in your account 48 hours
later. Friday after 6:00PM, Saturday, and Sunday deposits will be in the
account on Tuesday.
Q: How do
I pay your fees?
A: Up front fees such as purchasing of equipment or application
fees may be paid via check upon signing, or may be billed on the first
month's statement. All processing fees are debited on the last day of
the month via a separate debit to the checking account designated.
Q: Can you
set me up for the non bank cards, Amex and Discover?
A: We are a sales agent for American Express, and can set you up
at the same rates as American Express would. Discover sets their own rates,
and we would be happy to refer your account to them.
Q: Do I
need to change my banking relationship to process with you?
A: No. Your banking relationship stays secure. We are specialists
in transaction processing, and do not offer traditional baking services.
Q: How are
chargebacks handled, and how much do they cost?
A: All chargeback arbitration is handled by one of our trained
specialists, and we represent your business in the matter. All processors
are under the same chargeback rules and regulations, but our backroom
processing facility, National City Bank, has the most sophisticated fraud
and chargeback control systems in the industry. Chargebacks that the business
is responsible for are charged $15.00 per chargeback.
Q: Do I
need a dedicated telephone line for the terminal?
A: No. Any outbound line with and RJ11C plug will do. Each terminal
transmission takes approximately 15 seconds, so if it is a busy location,
a dedicated line may add to the efficiency. If the terminal is to be put
on a rolling telephone system, it is recommended to dedicate the last
line to the terminal.

Questions:
Q: Do we have the ability to provide private label credit cards?
A: Yes, once NLI gets large enough to warrant competitive credit
card rates.
Q: Can the
USI University courses be used as a continuing education credit?
A: Please consult with the University and/or College you are looking
to transfer these credits to.
Q: Is creation
and updating of the $245 representative website completely the responsibility
of the customer?
A: Yes.
Q: How will
you be able to handle the amount of retail and custom websites
being designed?
A: We currently have created or are servicing over 48,000 websites.
Q: What
is the turnaround for a retail and custom website?
A: Retail 4 to 6 weeks and Custom is determined
by the amount of work needing to be done.
Domain
Name Questions:
Q: What is the URL to check out what domain names are available?
A: Domain Bank: www.domainbank.net.
Q: What form
needs to be completed to register a new domain name?
A: Please visit the Net Lifestyles.com Hosting &
Domain Name Application form.
Q: What
is the fee for registering a domain name?
A: A $50.00 registration fee from Net Lifestyles and $60 two-year
tax paid to Domain Bank (the $60 fee is collected via a notice in the
mail and can be paid online).
Q: Is it
better for new clients to reserve their domain name through Net Lifestyles
or register it themselves?
A: It is quicker and easier for everyone to have Net Lifestyles complete the entire process.
Q: Once
I've registered a domain name, must I keep it?
A: You can choose not to pay Domain Bank's fees, which
returns the domain to public domain; however, our $50 fee is one-time
and non-refundable.
Q: What
is the current turn-around time for getting new domain setup to point
to my Net Lifestyles website?
A: If it is a new domain registration, generally 3 - 5 business
days from the date the Domain Application was processed.
